Black Sheep Players is holding auditions for DOUBT A PARABLE on Tuesday, May 15 at First Presbyterian Church, 600 East State Street, Sharon, PA from 6-8 PM.
Directed by Maria Petrella-Ackley, the cast includes one male, three females:
  Sister Aloysius Beauvier – Age 50-60
  Father Brendan Flynn – Age 30’s
  Sister James – Age 20’s
  Mrs. Muller – Age 35-40’s of African-American descent.
Readings will be from the script.
Performances July 13, 14, and 15 in Sharon, PA.

It is the first time that one of our plays will run for two weekends with two different casts. Our eleven actresses are Janet Buzzeo, Maria Wright Ceraolo, Megan Donaldson, Marguerite Kautzman, Pam Maloney, Krystal Miller, Miriam Necastro, Sarah Puhala, Lilly Reed, Robyn Ruth, and Susan Woge with stage manager Jim Maloney, house manager Colleen Davis, and director Maria Petrella-Ackley.

Driving Miss Daisy auditions Sat, 14 Jan 2017 14:08:22 +0000 Random Acts of Artists’ Black Sheep Players is holding open auditions for the Pulitzer Prize Winning play DRIVING MISS DAISY on Sunday, January 15th from 7 PM to 9 PM. Auditions will be held at The Chloe Pierce Chapel 131 North Mercer Avenue, Sharpsville PA. Parts to fill are:
Daisy Werthan, a female 50 to 70 who ages through the course of the play.
Boolie Werthan, male, 40 to 70, Daisy’s son.

Performance Dates are March 31, April 1 & 2.

Stephen Dovutovich and Maria Ackley, 2 RAA members and the founders of BSP will be continuing their legacy of bringing evocative theater to audiences of all ages on their new home stage at Fellowship Hall in First Presbyterian Church, Sharon, PA.

on December 2, 3, and 4
at the Buhl Farm Park Casino Ballroom. It will be directed by Sarah Puhala local actress of the stage and screen!
This dessert theater will be at 7:30 Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 on Sunday.
Doors open 1 hour before performance.
Tickets are $15 at the door but you can call 802-744-0277 leave your name and number of tickets at the tone and pick them up day of performance. This is the perfect holiday fare that captures the charm of the movie and the themes that the holidays evoke. Come see and better yet, hear our cast perform this classic, no better way to start December!
